Four Seasons Hotel Boston is beginning extensive renovations with a temporary closure forthcoming this year. The news was announced right after Forbes Travel Guide, the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and ocean cruises, had recognized this “exquisite Boston classic” with the highest rating, Five Star. The Hotel is the longest-running Five Star property in the city and this is the 24th consecutive year it has been awarded this prestigious honor.
Four Seasons Hotel Boston overlooks the Public Garden and adjacent Boston Common. It features 273 well-appointed guest rooms, 77 expansive suites, an indoor pool, and spectacular, light-filled event spaces overlooking the garden. Guests can enjoy artisanal local coffee beverages at the hotel’s Sottovento Cafe. Last year, the city’s most long-standing Forbes five-star luxury hotel introduced a new amenity. Located on each of the Hotel’s six guest room floors, The Vaults are rooms filled with complimentary snacks, candy, and beverages. Each room has its own unique decor and can be accessed with the help of a room key.
The Five Star award is a testament to the team’s dedication to our guests. I could not be prouder to work alongside such passionate professionals who are committed to delivering an extraordinary experience to every guest who walks through our doors. Forbes Travel Guide star ratings are awarded by a team of anonymous professional inspectors who travel the world to assess hotels, restaurants and spas based on 900 objective standards. Star ratings ultimately emphasize quality of service.
